So, what have I been up to? Well, Bubba, my latest bambino is now 7 months old and he’s just the most handsome child ever born. Totally cuter than the baby Jesus. He’s rolling around all over the place. Peanut is turning into a regular little Princess. She’s starting preschool this year and she is very excited. She knows how to use the computer now so she likes to hog mine all the time.

I also have another website which I have been neglecting, that way Hollow Possum doesn’t feel bad.

We got a new puppy and one of cats decided to move across the street.

So that’s all that’s been going on with me.

Michelle Duggar delivered the baby girl by Cesarean section Thursday at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. The baby, named Jordyn-Grace Makiya Duggar, weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long.

“The ultimate Christmas gift from God,” said Jim Bob Duggar, the father of the 18 children. “She’s just absolutely beautiful, like her mom and her sisters.”

The Duggars now have 10 sons and eight daughters.

Jim Bob Duggar said Michelle started having contractions Wednesday night. She needed the C-section, her third, because the baby was lying sideways. Jim Bob said both baby and mother were doing well Thursday night.

“We both would love to have more,” he said.

The cable network TLC broadcasts a weekly show about the Duggars called “17 Kids and Counting.” Chris Finnegan of TLC — which handles public relations for the Duggar family — said the show’s name would be updated to account for the latest addition to the family. He said TLC also will air a show Monday on the baby’s delivery.

Jim Bob Duggar is 43, a year older than his wife. Their oldest child, Joshua, is 20.

The other Duggar children, in between Joshua and Jordyn-Grace, are Jana, 18; John-David, 18; Jill, 17; Jessa, 16; Jinger, 14; Joseph, 13; Josiah, 12; Joy-Anna, 11; Jeremiah, 9; Jedidiah, 9; Jason, 8; James, 7; Justin, 6; Jackson, 4; Johannah, 3; and Jennifer, 1.

“Our whole family is excited about Jordyn’s addition to our family,” Jim Bob Duggar said. “She’s just perfect in every way.”

I LOVE THE DUGGARS.

There, I said it. I love them. I’ve been watching their new show and, well, I just find them incredibly charming. Freaky, but charming. What does this say about me? I mean, they are all goodness and sunshine and I’m…darkness and sarcasm. I think I have to blame Jon & Kate Plus 8. I used to love that show when the parents were like normal people. But then they became reality TV gimme pigs and I just don’t like them that much anymore (I still watch because I think the kids are cute). I think I’ve projected the displaced love for that show onto the Duggars.

Maybe I should go visit again and knock on the door.

Maybe I should ask if my family could move in. After all, whats four more people to a family of 20?

And it will probably make a great sitcom. Or TV special, kind of like the Flintstones Meet the Jetsons.

Seriously, who does things like this? She might as well have thrown herself a surprise party. I can’t believe she brought not only a cake, but a damn balloon. A balloon!

What I want to know is A) Did she bring it in on a Thursday, when all full time staff was there and could partake? And B) Was it late enough in the afternoon when the night employees could have some? (Her 2 pet peeves).

Anyway, watching the new weekly show, I have found out many new things about the Duggars. For instance, the girls don’t dress like Laura Ingalls anymore, which is good, even though the mom still has that iffy hair-do. Also, the kids have quite a sense of humor. Josh and his fiance go out on a date with chaperones, who happen to be Josh’s brother and sister. “It’s kind of like a double date, even though the other couple is my brother and sister. Well, we are from Arkansas.” Hilarious! And since they don’t date, but court- not showing interest in anyone unless they are going to marry- they are pretty obsessed about sex. Watch the show when they talk about it, you’ll see.

They also have a “scandalous” cousin, Amy. She’s actually pretty normal. I think she makes the whole show.

Oops, baby is fussin’. Gotta go.

The hula hoop girl was WAY better this year. No beatings for her after the show.

The big attraction was the human cannon ball. The human cannon ball was a rather rotund Spanish man in a dirty one piece suit. The surprising part of this act was not how well it was performed, but how firm and supple this chubby man’s buttocks looked in a one piece. I was jealous.

The absolute BEST part of this circus was that we paid $28.00 to sit on narrow wooden bleachers in a field to watch less than an hour and a half worth of show.

Yeah, we did that.
